Viewpoint of the Universe

This place, which is already impressive, is transformed into a real dream landscape by this place. Many things came together for the realization of this:

  • A generous person with artistic visions who was ready to give away his property
  • The great design by the versatile Palmerian artist Luis Morera
  • The devoted realization by the equally multifaceted artist Natan Teutsch, who, with admirable patience and a motivated team, made this dream come true.

And what are the architects doing there? We developed the project, worked out the technical implementation, the urban feasibility, the implementation plans and the public tender and provided support with the subsidization.

The place has not yet been opened because another construction phase is pending. But there are already indications that this dreamlike place will become a major tourist attraction.

Hotel San Telmo, Santa Cruz de La Palma.

This property extends between the old town streets "La Luz" and "San Telmo" of Santa Cruz de La Palma, on which a typical town house was built centuries ago (Calle La Luz). In the upper, rear part there was mainly a garden and subordinate buildings that were not used for residential purposes.
So the owners decided to build a small city hotel in this upper part of the street facing San Telmo and to connect it to the old building. The result was this charming hotel with 20 beds, from whose balconies the views are lost in the endless expanses of the Atlantic. Inside there is a colorful patio,
While the facade of the new building is based on the rhythm of the openings of the neighboring buildings at the turn of the century, the facade facing the patio was provided with Canarian wooden balconies based on the historic old building.

Rural Tourism House "La Montaña", Breña Baja.

In addition to the agricultural use, the owner has created a small country house here that is rented to tourists. Holidaymakers are welcome here in the midst of vineyards, lemon and orange trees.
The new building project has already been applied for as a "Casa de Turismo rural" and thus has all the necessary licenses. As is customary on La Palma, it was built on the site that has the least agricultural yield.

We advise the client in particular about the equipment standard, which also has a large share in the success of renting.

Hotel Alegría, Botazo, Breña Alta.

A proven and successful tourism concept prompted the promoter of this project to decide on this property.
The concept is easy to explain: Vacationers who have a particular hobby - such as writing, dancing, yoga, music / instruments - can take courses to deepen their knowledge during the vacation. An attractive point of attraction is that these courses are given by renowned personalities of the respective genre.
In addition to the central main building, the hotel complex therefore includes various event venues with a flexible room concept, an indoor swimming pool and 46 hotel rooms. Each hotel room has its own terrace with a garden.
The project has been approved by the Cabildo and the municipality of Breña Alta.

Current: Apartment complex Astrotourismus, Puntagorda.

Various factors come together that make La Palma the ideal place for stargazing: the purity of the air, the elevation above sea level, and the purity of light. Therefore, "astrotourism" is becoming more and more established on the island. This project in the higher elevation of Puntagorda has a rather impressive observatory for observing the sky. Here, too, the primary goal is integration into the landscape

The aim of the builders is to obtain income that is complementary to the agricultural use of the finca by renting them, while preserving the surroundings and the historical use. That is why the decision was made to realize only 12 beds / 6 apartments of the possible 20 beds in the 5,400 m² finca. The construction of an old bodega is being faithfully restored as a common room. A swimming pool will be built inside the finca.

Construction work will begin in 2020.
